Latest changes to FK World, March 2011

We feel it is about time to update you on the latest changes we have made to FK World. As an internet society, FK World always strives to be dynamic, user friendly and up to date.
We will continue to post these updates regularily.

General

- Clickable links in commentary fields
- Confirmation after password change 
- A new welcome text when you activate your account was added
- A new welcome text in Spanish when you activate your account was added
- New participants may now activate their own account
- A problem with automatic reduction of image sizes was fixed
- Element “New topics in group forums” on front page changed name to “New posts”
- Element “New topics in group forums” now show new posts in forums instead. In forum threads with more than one post, only the latest post will be shown
- Element “New posts” size was adjusted to align better with other elements on front page
- Title “New Projects” on front page element New Projects now points to a search result sorted on Most recent
- Project search added sort function “Most project members”, which is the sum of participants and partners in one project
- Project search sort function “Alphabetical” was removed

Profiles

- Only participant’s own video is now visible in their video gallery
- A sorting problem with contact’s activities is now fixed
- Inbox pane will now update number of incoming messages when a new message is read
- Font size reduced on text “View” on participant profiles “bubbles”
- Header on participant profiles bubbles was changed to bold and aligned better with rest of content
- Profile bubble now has a mouse over function showing which topic has a description

Blogs

- Fixed a problem with Create blog post in partner sites
- Blog font size increased to improve readability
- A problem with partner profile’s blog editor was fixed

Projects and partners

- List of co-partners now sorted on ACTIVE, then ALL
- Created a default picture for PROJECTS
- Code snippet left on partner profiles was removed
- Project co-partners now has a default image in the partner profile
- Partner projects now sorted after Active and Most recent. Collaboration agreement date is sorting data. 
- Partner projects will now list 10 results when you click View all

Groups and events

- A problem where new event pictures was not immediately made available is now fixed
- Search result when you click on “New Groups” element header on front page was changed Most recent
- Search result when you click on “New Groups” element header is now listed in a more user friendly way
- Right column on Group search was removed
- Group invitations now states “invite member” instead of “invite contact”
- Group invitation popup now states “invite member” instead of “invite contact”
- Group invitations now states “invitar” in Spanish version
- Group invitation popup now states “invitar” in Spanish version
