Dear friends,
In the first week of November i have visited the under construction 10kW micro hydro project. I found that it is quite different from the Nepal. In the contex of Nepal we found high head and easy to work but in cambodia qiute difficult to get the elevation and a lot of funds has spent on the intake. They make a intake like a hydropower but which is not still safe. They use intake as a forebay but there is no any flushing mechanism. So that this may be full of sediments like sand, soil, aggregate and difficult to clean and MHP has shot down in the rainly season.
